It all started on Broad Vista Street
My grandmother gave me a needle, thread, and some fabric and I learned to sew. She trusted me and my cousin to experiment on her sewing machine, breaking many needles, creating some funky aprons and wall hangings, but never sewing through our fingers! I’ve spent the last 18 years making quilts, and really honing my skills and style over the past 4. In addition, Broad Vista Quilts has expanded to include quilted bags in a variety of styles and sizes, and other practical home goods.
Broad Vista Quilts, nestled by the Salmon River and along the Continental Divide, brings together the traditional art of quilting with modern colors and designs, often inspired by the local mountains, rivers, plants, and vistas. I hope you find a thoughtfully handmade creation waiting to be loved.
I accept commissions, so reach out if you’re thinking about a custom quilt, wall hanging, or bag!
